The sun rose over a horizon made of hand-painted cardboard, casting a soft glow across the . Yoshi woke up in a meadow where the grass was fashioned from strips of green felt and the flowers were bright plastic buttons.

With a mischievous cackle, Kamek cast a spell that sent the Dream Gems scattering across different "crafty" dimensions. Yoshi didn't hesitate; with a determined flutter-jump, he swallowed a nearby stray shy-guy, turned it into a polka-dot egg, and set off.

He trekked through forests made of soda cans and oceans of blue cellophane. He learned that by simply hopping to the "flip side" of the world, he could see the duct tape and wooden supports holding the scenery together—finding hidden paths that no one else could see. By the time he reached the cardboard castle at the end of the trail, Yoshi wasn't just a dinosaur; he was a hero in a world held together by glue, string, and a lot of heart.

It was a quiet morning until a gust of wind—or perhaps a stray fan in the real world—blew through the valley. Suddenly, the , the magical artifact that makes all dreams come true, glimmered with an unusual intensity. Kamek and Baby Bowser were lurking in the background, plotting to snatch the gems right off the stone’s face!
