Raylan is being investigated by the Assistant U.S. Attorney, David Vasquez , regarding his recent shootings.

In this episode, Raylan Givens is forced into the role of a hostage negotiator when a federal prisoner, (played by W. Earl Brown), takes control of the Marshal's office.

Raylan attempts to defuse the situation without using his gun, eventually promising Wallace "three days of bourbon" to secure a peaceful surrender.
