The neon lights of the Sunset Strip didn't glow; they bled. André sat in the back of a black sedan, watching the palm trees pass like jagged teeth against a bruised purple sky.     There is humor, tragedy, grace, twists, love, and pain. It is, at the same time heart touching and heartbreaking. TARA is a brilliant play by a brilliant writer MAHESH DATTANI, first played in the year 1989. The play is named after the female protagonist of the play, Tara.
