Shippuuden (dub) Episode 37 - Naruto

Naruto and Sakura encounter Sai while he is sketching. Sakura is impressed by his artistic talent but confused when Sai reveals he does not title his work. He explains that titles are meant to reflect the feelings and thoughts an artist has while creating, but because he feels no emotions, he has nothing to name them.

Much of the tension comes from Naruto and Sakura’s subconscious refusal to accept Sai as a replacement for Sasuke Uchiha. They view Sai's presence as a shallow substitute, while Sai views their emotional attachment to a "traitor" as illogical. Naruto Shippuuden (Dub) Episode 37
