Highlight the text, click the Font Color icon (usually an 'A' with a color bar), and select "Black".

If you find that text across the web (like in Chrome) is generally too light or gray: Highlight the text, click the Font Color icon

Tools like Make Chrome Text Black allow you to force all text on websites to be dark black and thicker.

For overall system text that is hard to read on Windows or mobile:

If the text currently appears gray or a lighter shade, you can manually set it to pure black ( #000000 ).
