What are your thoughts on the sequel vs. the original? Did you prefer the wacky comedy of the first or the more dramatic stakes of the second? #AnimeDiscussion #JubeiChan #SiberiaYagyu
I just finished rewatching Siberia Yagyu no Gyakushuu and I’m always struck by how much "heavier" it feels compared to the first season. While Season 1 was a bit more of a magical girl parody/comedy, the sequel dives deep into themes of ancestral hatred, isolation (fitting for the Siberia theme), and the weight of the past.
